Adaptive 自适应-LearningPedia
(1) Adaptive training programs adapt themselves to the skill level or preferences of the learner. Haven't seen one in over ten years. At best, some programs use the pre-test to enable students to "test out" of certain lessons.
(gzhu.edu.cn)
(3) adaptive training : A form of training that progresses from easier to more difficult tasks as the learner improves. Adaptive training may use equipment designed to provide automatic adjustments of task difficulty according to the learner's level of performance, with the learner's errors maintained at a constant level as difficulty varies.(answers.com)
(4) Adaptive training : Adaptive Training provides a unique and innovative alternative to traditional Computer Managed Instruction (CMI) systems. Adaptive Training focuses on individualized learning. It dynamically adapts each CBT lesson to meet each user’s unique needs in key skill areas. The user’s understanding of each topic is assessed in real time, while he is viewing the CBT, and appropriate training material is triggered. The CBT becomes dynamic. It adapts itself to each specific user. Training effectiveness is maximized by providing the right training at the right time. Adaptive Training goes one step further than typical CMI progress monitoring. It includes statistical skill assessment. Each user’s responses and training history combine to provide an in-depth assessment profile which provides the visibility managers need for personnel assessment. Assessment is at the topic or skill level so that managers can see which topics a user understands and has meet satisfactorily versus topic areas where further reinforcement is required.(giordano.com)
